holiday這個字當初是holy day演變而來的，因為現在的節日都是教會認為神聖的日子，但現在有很多的holiday都已經變質了，也失去原本holy的含意。

lilies, chocolate bunnies and colored eggs都是復活節的象徵，其實復活節真正的意義是紀念耶穌從死裡復活跟以上所講到的百合，巧克力跟彩蛋毫無關係，就像Christmas聖誕節原本是一個神聖的節日，跟聖誕老人，聖誕樹也是毫無關係的。
